Hello again.

Wow, I know I kind of fell off the planet for a while. Sorry about that. It's kind of been a roller coaster of a month.

At any rate, here's my most recently finished project. In honor of Towel Day (which is today), I made this nifty little kitchen towel:

The pattern is called Zig Zag Kitchen Towel by Janelle Schlossman and can be found here.

It was a pretty easy pattern to work up. Now I am off to start on a blanket for a friend who's been having a rough time lately. I will keep you updated on that one as it progresses.

Have a great one, make sure you've got your towel with you. I'll try not to be such a stranger this month!

Douglas Adams, I salute you.

Peace,
C

Two projects finished this week...

Well, I've got two down. Thursday I finished my friend's birthday blanket.

Of course, the cold I have been fighting off all week kicked in full form yesterday morning, so I wasn't actually able to go to the party. My husband took it with him though, so the gift did get delivered.

Today I decided to start on the teddy bear for my cousin's baby and managed to get it done.

I think it came out a little deformed (mostly the mouth and the eyes) but it's still cute. I decided to go with a Panda, using Red Heart Sport weight yarn in black and white. The pattern I used was from the Bernat Cuddle Ups to Crochet pamphlet for "Teddy Toy."

So that's some of what I've been up to. Next on my list are a few pairs of socks and then a blanket for a friend who has been having a hard time of it lately.

I hope all is well with all of you. Have a good one.
